The original main entrance to the convent was on the corner between Moreton Road and Greasby Road.

The entrance was moved a little way down Moreton road when the junction was improved in the 1960s.

During the road improvements, the original iron gateposts where smashed, all that remains of the original gates is the pedestrian gate.

When the Lingdale building was completed in 1999, the main entrance was moved to a new entrance in Saughall Massie Lane, away from the busy junction and traffic lights.
